Funding & Fees

Funds are solicited from events, corporate sponsorships, memberships and personal donations. All money raised in the community goes directly into programs. There is no provincial or national body taking a percentage of the funds raised.

Subsidized fees: For those wishing to enroll but are unable to afford our registration fees, we do offer financial support in partnership with the Kitchener Sports Association.  There are also several sources offering direct individual support, e.g. JumpStart, KidSport, OutReach, etc. If you require assistance, please contact us for more information.  Everyone should get to play!

Kitchener Sports Association (KSA)

KSA Fee Assistance:

To assist in efforts to ensure that more children have the opportunity to play, in the spring of 2013, KSA announced the establishment of a program to provide financial support to local minor sports groups offering registration fee subsidies. As of year-end 2018, KSA has provided $94,320 in fee-assistance funding and is budgeting more as more sports groups join the program.

This initiative provides funding to local minor sports groups that either already have publicized formal fee-assistance programs in place or plan to establish a formal fee-assistance program and promote it. To be accepted for KSA funding support, a sports group must agree to collaborate with KSA and promote this initiative. The group must have a formal Fee-assistance Program in place, promote it and acknowledge KSA’s financial support. KSA cannot provide support to individuals.
